Bailey's Story...
Bailey is a bit shy and can take some time to warm up to his surroundings.Once he is comfortable however he becomes a total sweetheart! He is playful but prefers his brothers company over other dogs. He does well with cats and livestock. Bailey has not been around young children but over age 8 he does well. He is housebroken but has not received much training beyond that. Bailey is also overweight and will need an owner dedicated to daily exercise.

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a West Richland Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in West Richland, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in West Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
