My name is Roberta and I am a ten year old female Parti Schnauzer who weighs 16 lbs. I just got my name a couple weeks ago as I was a number before that my whole life.
I was owned by breeder/hoarder who only cared about the beautiful little puppies that I had...nothing else. I lived with others like me in a barn, in a cage...not a crate.....cages of us stacked high. Only the strongest of us survived....I am happy to say that thanks to a wonderful dog warden and a lot of volunteers from Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati, ALL of us are free now.
I am called a Parti because I don’t have the typical salt and pepper color of most Schnauzers, as I sport a beautiful white coat with black patches. Now that I have come to Cincinnati, my whole life has changed.
Each day I am learning more and more of what I missed all these years. I have been groomed, vetted and my shots are u-t-d. The doggy doctor discovered that I only have one tooth, but it doesn’t stop me from being a good eater! My foster mom is amazed every time I finish my big bowl of kibble.
I am hoping now for a forever home to call my own. I am quiet, love men and women, and I am housebroken. I have not used a leash yet so I will need a yard with a fence. I love being with other dogs and don’t tell anyone, but I really like the foster mom’s cat, too.
My real BFF is my foster mom, and I love it she holds me and kisses me. Please consider filling out an application for me and let me be your new best friend. Thanks, Roberta.
Roberta is fostered by Patty in North Canton OH
