Betty's Boys Beagle/Pit/Lab's Story...
Betty is a 25 lb beagle/lab mix who came to us VERY pregnant... as a matter of fact she had her puppies during her transport! (HOW many pups are born on the new Bay Bridge?) :-)

These puppies will be available for adoption in about two weeks. They appear to be Beagle/Pitbull/Lab mixes. We think that the pups will be medium-to-large size when fully grown.

Please submit an application to adopt at http://Wonderdogrescue.org if you are interested in bringing one of these lovelies into your home. There are five girls and three boys!

Huxley is the lover boy of the group. Friendly Hux is affectionate and loves to give little kisses! His classic good looks and sweet disposition will melt your heart. Colors (brown and white)

Big boy Howl is a hoot! He is the strong man of the group. His puppy dog eyes make everyone smile. Handsome Howl’s got the brawn, beauty, and the brains! He is the total package! Colors (black with white chest)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty's Boys Beagle/Pit/Lab, a San Francisco Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
