Charlie Watson-Adopted!'s Story...
This fellow was taken into the rescue recently. He had scratches around his ears and scars in several spots. It's possible the tips of his ears were damaged from frostbite and also the tip of his tail has some dead skin tissue. He is living at a foster home with two cats which he doesn't mind and is doing well. Charlie weighs about 52 pounds and will be grateful to finally find a family of his own and give him the love and care he deserves. Birth date 8/1/12

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie Watson-Adopted!, a Detroit American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
