Bella's Story...
Bella is a beautiful sable border collie. She is a confident, smart, determined, alpha female. She is well trained and very loving. She was turned in by her owners when their baby began toddling. She is good with other dogs, but not the really little guys. She loves to play with her big red ball. Her engaging personality will wrap her human around her paw, so her family must be ready to be in charge. She is energetic, but at 7 years old is also willing to be quiet and enjoy being indoors. She could be an only dog, if her human was mostly always with her. Otherwise, she would need a friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Monrovia Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Monrovia, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Monrovia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monrovia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monrovia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monrovia paves the way for another one to be saved.
