My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a beautiful long-legged beauty. She is 2 years old and weights 75 lbs. Pepper is a lab mix with a soft, silky and shiny black coat. She came to us from a rural shelter where she had been picked up as a stray. That was definitely the turning point in her life as she is now in a wonderful foster home getting all the love and attention a young girl needs. Her foster family describes her as 'a happy girl'. She has that happy personality and just enjoys life. Pepper gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with any who will play with her. Her favorite thing is playing fetch and she loves chasing after the ball or frizbee or stick or whatever. We would put her energy level at medium/high. Pepper also is just fine with the kitties. She has done well in her foster home - good house manners, is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and loves going for walks. After walks or romping in the yard, Pepper likes to come in and just cuddle and relax with her people. She is a big love. This pretty girl does well with everyone - men, women and older children. Because of her size and energy level we would not recommend very small children. Pepper would like nothing more than to find that perfect home of her own. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations and is micro-chipped.
