My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Hi there, everyone! My name is DOTTIE, and I'm a one-and-a-half-year-old Cattle Dog/ Pit Bull mix who wants to be your life-long, loyal companion. I'm smart and clever, like most Cattle Dogs, and I'll need a good amount of daily exercise to keep me at my best. Maybe we could be hiking buddies. And did you notice my eyes? Everyone tells me that I'm quite lovely. I'd do well with an experienced owner who is a firm and patient leader, then I'm sure to be absolutely loyal and obedient. I'd do best in a home with older, considerate kids, and I get along well with other dogs who are on the larger side. The shelter staff isn't sure if I've been house trained yet, so I'll probably need to work on that. One thing I should also mention is that I might be hard of hearing, so that's another reason I'll need an experienced owner. I hope you'll come visit me soon at the El Cajon Animal Shelter.
