Lucy 1 ½ years old
Lucy was signed over to our shelter when her previous owners were moving and could not bring her along. Her previous owners did let us know that she has been housebroken, great with children, loves other dogs and knows several basic commands. Lucy is a happy and playful girl who loves attention and loves to play. She would do great in ah ome with a great big back yard and lots of people to love on her. Lucy is a blast to have around and can’t wait to find her forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Fruit Heights Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
