My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is SHAUN, but my foster mome calls me "GRANDE PAW" because I look like a little old man, and I have big paws. I was born on January 30 2014 in my foster mom's home. I was named after the famous winter Olympic and super cool skate/snow boarder, Shaun White. I hear he also has is own clothing line. I'm super cool too. Do you understand that Dachshunds have a "short on legs, but long on personality" profile and do you find it totally endearing? SHAUN is oh so typical to that description. He would be classified as a "tweener" in the wiener world. Miniatures are 11 pounds or less, and standards are at least 16 pounds. Grande Paw weighs 12. While he doesn't carry a purebred regsitration, he sure looks the part. Anyway, Mutts have Soul, and you need a SOUL MUTT.

Shaun would love another nice dog to keep him company. He loves playing with and bossing around his brother, Shani, also in need of a forever home. He loves to talk to you about how he is feeling on any given day; really, any give moment, just like any good dachshund will.

He truly is cute. If you love dachshunds, you will fall in love with Shaun/Grande Paw, the tweener!
