My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Natalie, a very sweet and special 10 year old girl. You see, my family loved me so much that when they lost their home and everything they had, they still took me with them. I was living with my family in an empty storage unit until they were kicked out, but even then they still they made sure that I was ok. They left me there with a big bag of open food and a bucket of water until Animal Control came to get me. I'm sure they miss me a lot, and I hope they know that I'm ok now that I'm with Young At Heart! I sure miss them, but let me tell you something- it's SO nice to be clean! Living on the streets is hard when you're a silky fluffy dog without a brush or a bath, and my hair was matted all the way down to my skin. I got a nice grooming when I came to Young at Heart, and I feel SO much better! I'm super sweet and mellow, and really just go where life takes me. I'm probably a chow/border collie mix, and I'm very healthy. I do have some arthritis, and take Rimadyl on a daily basis, and it keeps me comfortable and lets me enjoy my walks. I'm housebroken and very quiet, and just would like a nice, warm place full of love and laughter to call home.
