Facts about Odessa

  • Breed: Domestic Longhair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
Odessa is a beautiful medium-haired Russian Blue cross who was rescued from a wood pile, along with her five kittens – Caspian, Jules, Nereida, Nerissa and Hadrian.
Although she has adjusted well to living indoors, she remains somewhat timid and prefers to watch the action from a distance.
She will allow herself to be petted, but does not like being picked up.
She does however, enjoy interacting with the other cats in the foster home.

Odessa would do well in a quiet home without small children, and with someone who is willing to let her blossom in her own time.
Her picture does not do her justice.

In order to find this sweet girl a home, we are waiving our usual adoption fee in lieu of a minimum donation of $85.

About Abbey Cat Adoptions

About Our Rescue Group...

Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.

Our Adoption Process...

We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.
175 dollars for 6 months old & up (including spay/neuter)
90 dollars for kittens (not including spay/neuter)
