Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We would like to explain that if you are looking for a perfect dog, they are rarely found in rescue. Our dogs often have unknown histories and we do our very best to evaluate each dog with kids, cats, and other dogs as well as determine how they behave in a home. It is important to understand that we have some specific criteria for each dog based on their backgrounds and input from their foster families. The purpose of these criteria is to better match each dog with an appropriate family. While a certain dog might appeal to you based on breed, size, gender or appearance, you may not match the listed criteria. Please understand that we are not trying to make adoption difficult—we are trying to make each adoption successful for the dog and the new family.

If you have children, we suggest that prior to applying for a dog, you view the website http://www.livingwithkidsanddogs.com. The information is excellent and can help you determine which dog would be right for your family.
Tate is a darling one year old male Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is petite at 15 pounds. His surrendering owner decided that due to her work schedule and travel he would be happier in a different home, especially one with children. Tate is an extraordinarily sweet, loving dog who enjoys sleeping with the teenaged girls in his foster home. He follows them everywhere. From foster mom: He is such a good boy, is very affectionate, and loves playing with his toys with the 4 kids! He seems very happy, right at home, and unaffected by any of the home/people transitions. Just a "go-with-the-flow-kinda-guy" lol! Only trouble we've had is our daughter is trying to figure out how to do her schoolwork with him on her lap and her books & papers LOL!!! He steals kisses, licks her pencil while she's writing, and just looks so darn cute that she has trouble getting anything done! ...and she LOVES every bit of it!!” Tate enjoys the three small dogs in his foster home but doesn’t care for the large year old playful dog. Tate is house trained and kennel trained, but we are seeking a home where he spends little time in a kennel as he used to be in it far too long. Also Tate needs a home with children as he really loves their interactions. WE ARE SEEKING A HOME WITH CHILDREN AT HOME MUCH OF THE TIME AND A STAY AT HOME PARENT.
Tait’s adoption fee is $500.00. He is heartworm negative and on prevention, neutered, and his vaccines will need to be boostered in June. Tate has a whole vanload of belongings including a few beds, toys, grooming equipment, crate, etc. Tate is fostered in Delano with mom, dad, kids ages 10 to 18, 2 chihuahuas, one dog his size and a large dog who seems to scare him a bit.
