Butch's Story...
This beautiful young boy is Butch. Butch is a 9 month old Doberman that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great new home. Butch had a home, but when their family faced losing their home, Butch was turned in. This sweet young boy is not letting it get him down though and he is looking forward toward a bright new future. Butch is still quite puppyish and is so much fun to be with. He's playful, sweet, super friendly and outgoing. Butch is a strong big boy and could use a little training with walking on a leash, but he is well behaved and polite, and he's a fast learner too. Butch absolutely loves to run and play in our exercise yard and was ecstatic to open our toy box and grab himself something to play with. He is content to run laps or toss around a toy with you, and he plays very gently with people. Butch doesn't seem to mind other dogs, but since he currently has kennel cough, he cannot meet any just yet. He should get a clean bill of health in a couple of weeks. Butch is so deserving of a fresh start in life with a family that will love him forever......please make our big baby's dreams come true! File#23238 1/13/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butch, a Forked River Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
