Storm's Story...
Storm and his siblings were found abandoned in a box wrapped up for Christmas on the side of the road over the holiday. They were too young to be on their own and thanks to a good Samaritan they were taken to a rescue and are alive today! Their foster mom has taken very good care of them and they're great with kids and other pets. Storm is happy, energetic, and smart! They're 9 weeks old, spayed and neutered and ready for their new homes. Please apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Storm, a Harrisonburg Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
