My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The only way to describe Slim is "what a great boy." He is a young boy of about 1 to 1 1/2 years old and is a 'slim' 55 lbs. He needs to gain about 10 lbs. and fill out some more, but he sure is one handsome boy. He is a happy boy too and loves to have fun and play. He is a little on the high energy side, but calms down very quickly. Romping in the yard with his canine buddies is a fun thing and playing a little bit of tug-o-war is great too. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even is good with the kitties. Slim has been well socialized with men, women and older children. He loves them all. He gets so excited when he sees someone coming and he prances and wags his tail in anticipation. Of course, he gets a great big pat and some hugs too for being such a good boy. Slim does pretty good on a leash, but he needs some work on not pulling. He does well in the house too and is house trained and crate trained. Slim likes human attention and praise and he really aims to please making him a great candidate for obedience classes. He is not so good on taking treats gently, but he is working on that and doing better. If you like to take long walks, go running or hiking, Slim would be the perfect companion for you. He would make it loads of fun. Slim is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped. He has been kept on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.
