Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jody is a tri-colored 1 year old female Border Collie Mix with a smooth coat. Our best guess is that she is mixed with Australian Cattle Dog. We believe that she is JoJo's brother. as they came into the shelter together. She is very sweet, however she is a bit shy due to lack of socialization. She has a prey drive towards cats, therefore she is looking for a feline free home. Jody gets along well with other dogs, and seems to enjoy playing with them.
Jody walks decently on a leash now, but is bothered by loud noises. She needs obedience training and she could use some confidence building through some positive reinforcement training. . She is crate trained, however, she has had a few potty incidents in her crate, so she still needs some diligent work in that department. Jody is more active than JoJo and she has a more outgoing personality. Her energy level is medium and Jody will need to daily exercise.
Jody is an affectionate dog that loves being the center of attention. She has a gentle demeanor about her, and she wants to forge a bond with her person. Jody will blossom into a nice dog, as long as her person is committed to socializing her and will help build her confidence.
