DOMINO is an affectionate male Pitbull who hopes to get a home while he is still young! He has spent most of his 5 years in our shelter. He’s had quality time with volunteers and needs a strong person(s) to continue with exercise and training. He’s shown impressive abilities yet can forget his manners when stressed or over-excited. His first Pen Pal took him on countless hikes and gave him a couple of vacations from the shelter in her home. His first Pen Pal was relocated out of state, and his new (current) Pen Pal took him to obedience class – he did great! DOMINO was excellent around other dogs in class; his next step is to build consistent behavior while out-and-about. He has grown up with a small amount of experience with children; we recommend an adult-only home because he can forget his manners when stressed or over-excited. He can be paired with a laid-back female dog or would love to be an only kid & soak up all the lovin’. Not cat compatible. DOMINO has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is ready to join your family. Apply at www.companimals.org. Adoption $165

About CompAnimals Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

Our Adoption Process...

Please visit www.CompAnimal.org for more information about the adoption process and our fees. Our application is online, and relatively quick and painless to fill out.
We are a small all volunteer organization. Your e-mail wiil typically receive a quicker response than your phone call.
