found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Good With Kids: Unknown, but Peyton is a puppy who is still learning what's a chew toy and what's not.
Good With Other Dogs: Peyton loves the company of his foster siblings. He's very playful and would love another 4-legged playmate
Good With Cats: Unknown
Housetrained: Almost there!
Crate Trained: Yes
Walks Nicely On A Leash: Still learning
Knows Basic Commands: Peyton knows sit and is learning other commands
Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High): Peyton is a very active puppy who will need lots of exercise to keep him busy and happy
Special Needs: None
Arrival story: Peyton was a stray in Detroit who was found by his guardian angel who contacted WT for help.
Personality: Peyton is a very goofy puppy. He loves to snuggle with his foster mom and other foster siblings. Peyton gets along great with other dogs. He knows how to share his toys and loves to play chase. Peyton is a happy-go-lucky pup who can put a smile on anyone's face!
Forever home: Peyton will fit into many different situations. He would love another doggie playmate to wrestle with. We believe that Peyton is going to be a big boy so he will need lots of exercise and fun activities to keep him happy.
Contact: Suzanne at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about Peyton
Pre-Adoption Application: To be considered for a dog, it is best to submit a pre-adoption application. The Pre-Adoption Application can be downloaded from our website - Adoption Process Just complete the application and email it back to email@example.com
Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of
$225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies -
$125 senior dogs (9 years +)
$275 for small breed dogs
$250 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age.
Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
