My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

2/12/14: Cole Was Dumped By The Side Of The Road

During the Holidays, a family witnessed two puppies being dropped off by the side of the road. They were able to catch one of the dogs (who has since been named Cole) but his sibling was too shy for capture and hasn't been seen :-( Through a chain of events one of our foster homes were called and asked if they could take the puppy and keep him until the shelter opened after the holidays. Our foster home could not bear the thought of this sweet puppy going to the shelter so they asked if NBR would take him into our program. Of course we said "Yes".

Below is the report from Cole's foster mom:

"Cole came to us Christmas Eve. This sweet puppy came to us super skinny and scared. Our other foster Walker took right up with this little guy and made him feel welcomed. He had no name and our son named him Cole. He was taken to the vet for a check-up and it was determined he was 4-5 months old. He also got his shots and tested heartworm negative. A week later he was neutered.

This little man has done very well, recovered completely, and is now ready for adoption. He is a sweet, playful and loving puppy. His fur best friend is Walker and it would be really awesome if they could get adopted together :-) When Cole isn't playing he is cuddled up to me, his foster mom. Usually him and Walker see who can get closest to me - it must be a "sibling" type rivalry. teehe so cute! The picture and video I attached are when they were both laying in my lap as I sat in my recliner drinking my morning coffee. The video is truly how they were playing - can you say "quiet play"?

So let me ask, are you the person who is ready to add these two to your family? If they can't be adopted together I understand but I really think it would be great since they are such good buddies."
