Here's what the humans have to say about me:
McKenzie is a very quiet, shy, and fearful little girl. She is 1 year old and weighs 13lbs. When we first rescued her, she was afraid of everything and hid behind the couch for hours. Poor girl has been through a lot, so like a delicate flower, she needs time and patience to bloom. McKenzie likes to stay in her crate where she feels most secure or she will sit on your lap or near your feet when she is out of the crate. She is learning to walk on a leash and is doing very well. She does not like high energy dogs around which make her nervous. She gets anxious and shakes when frightened but as she is learning to trust, she is easing into a more comfortable zone. McKenzie's foster is working with her to build her confidence and is making great strides! McKenzie will do best in a mellow, quiet home where she can become the wonderful dog we know she is!
