Shayna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shayna's Story...
Shayna is a 1-2yr old yellow lab mix weighing about 45lbs.She is sweet as can be. This super loving girl is great with kids and dogs of all sizes. She is being fostered in a home with cats as well and is curious about her feline fosters siblings, but so far so good. She loves to play and even rough house if you'd let her. She is housebroken and does well in a crate. She loves her foster family and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She even is so grateful to be safe that she hugs her foster mom any chance she gets. She would make a wonderful addition to any home.
Shayna has been seen by a vet and deamed healthy to his/her knowledge and is current on all vaccines, has been microchipped and altered.
An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.

The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Molly at hallamart@sbcglobal.net
The adoption fee of $275 covers all vetting expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shayna, a Plainfield Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
