Deacon's Story...
Deacon is just a whole lot of beagle fun! Born October 12, 2013, Deacon is an AKC registered Blue Tick Beagle who was surrendered to Circle of Hope when his family realized they did not have the time for a young puppy.

Deacon loves spending his days playing with the other dogs in his foster home, where there is also a cat. He absolutely loves when children come to visit too!

Deacon is all beagle, with the most adorable beagle yodle, so be prepared. But given the chance, he'll climb right up next to his people for a good snuggle. He is super smart - it only took him an hour to figure out how to use the doggie door in his foster home!

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates. It is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deacon, a Naugatuck Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Naugatuck, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Naugatuck.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naugatuck already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naugatuck breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naugatuck paves the way for another one to be saved.
