Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toby was found as a stray walking down the middle of the road. When we opened the car door, he jumped in. Probably during his journey, he was hit by a car and damaged his left hind leg ligaments. He also was shot with pellets in his left hip. He had three and the vet was able to remove one. He is recovering remarkable well and only walks with a mild limp. He is not in any pain. He is incredible friendly and exuberant when meeting people. Hovever, if you have medicine or needles, he will give you a run for your money. He is a sweet boy who deserves lots of attention and exercise. He is mildly heartworm positive and has started on a regimen of slow treatment. He is remarkably photogenic and has a beautiful merle coat.
Although Toby is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.
