My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a very special 5 year old dog. She is extremely sweet, loving, calm and a gentle soul who cannot give and get enough loving. She puts her head on your shoulder like she is giving you a hugs! She loves to be around the kids and is also friendly with other dogs. Dixie is housebroken, knows how to sit, and is interested in a ball. She has been well behaved and does not get into any trouble when nobody is at home. Dixie could use to gain about 10 pounds. She is a one in a million dog and will be a great addition to a lucky family. She came from southern Illinois, where she was mostly and outside dog. She is recovering nicely from heartworm treatment and we are giving her good nutrition to put some weight on her.
