Millie MD's Story...
Millie is an Australian Shepherd, born November 16th. She is a sweet little girl, ready to play. Millie is crate trained, good with cats, dogs and kids. She is working on basic commands and is a quick learner.

Talk about a bad hair day! Millie was dropped off at PetSmart to get a total makeover, at the end of the day with no more puppy hair she was never picked up. Calling the owners did not work as they gave bogus information. Her pretty coat will grow back and with it a new
life in a loving family!

The adoption fee $115 includes neuter, vaccines, microchip and starting on heartworm prevention. To adopt a puppy please fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie MD, a Schertz Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
