Sugarbear's Story...
My name is Sugarbear I was found on Sugar Cove Road starving. I had been set out there and I was unable to walk so some nice people carried me to safety.

I have gained weight and feel so much better now I don't like to get my picture taken as you can see but I love people and I love attention. Oh, and I love food too!

I am up to date on shots, on heartworm prevention and neutered. I am just waiting for you to come and take me home

Adoption fee is 150.00 Courtesy post Joy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugarbear, a Marion German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Marion, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
