Sheldon's Story...
This group of 5 male mice arrived on 2/9. Sheldon is a very sweet boy who is lilac and white with red eyes. These guys were born at a shelter up in Canada, and came to us when the shelter was overloaded. Originally Sheldon was in living with Leonard, but they have since split up :( Sheldon was the shyer one of the pair, but now that he is not with his dominant brother, he is starting to be more outgoing and good with handling. These guys have not been too socialized and some are more skittish than others. They do require some socialization and some mice experience as they are a little jumpy and need work on being handled. The only one who has actually bitten is the black female. But we really think once they realize that humans aren't going to hurt them, their awesome mice personalities will come out. Mice are great pets and once socialized and trained, they are very interactive and love attention and out of cage playtime!. Adoption fee is $10 for a single.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheldon, a Edinburg Mouse was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mouse for sale in Edinburg, or seeking a Mouse from a breeder in Edinburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edinburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edinburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mouse breeders who help with Mouse rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edinburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
