Hi there.  My name is Michelle and I am a little 7 pound Chihuahua who is as gorgeous as can be!  I love other dogs and get along very well with them.  I enjoy being adventurous and I love to play tug-of-war with my canine roomies while we wait for our furever families to adopt us.  I have so much fun playing with toys and I am highly motivated by treats.  I really don't like to be confined to a cage, but just thrive when I can be out and about.  I am currently in foster care and my foster mommy says I am very shy.  I am not real cuddly because I was undersocialized as a puppy, but I will sit 5 feet away and make eye contact.  She's hoping one day, I will climb into her lap.  My new family will need to understand and be patient with me while I come out of my shell.  Even if I don't show it the way most dogs do, I really do love my humans and I am very grateful for the loving care they give me.

My dream come true will be the day I am adopted into a loving home!  I am currently in foster care, but if you would like to meet me, that can be arranged!  Contact TLC at 1-805-527-SAVE today!

TLC is a small dog breed rescue.  All of our dogs are currently in foster care, but are looking for loving, furever homes.  Current, up-to-date information can also be found on the TLC Facebook page HERE:

About Tiny Loving Canines (TLC)

About Our Rescue Group...

Tiny Loving Canines operates Ventura County's first and only full-time Rescue Center, open to the public 7 days/week in Simi Valley, CA.

We have the vision of a No-Kill generation, and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home the abandoned and neglected animals in our community. Our rescue acts as a needs-based safety net, allowing dogs maximum exposure for adoption at the county shelters, and saving their lives when they run out of time. We will do whatever it takes, within our means, to save a dogs life (unless it is illegal or immoral). TLC is proud to partner with Ventura County Animal Services in the march toward No-Kill in Ventura County!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Rescue Shop is located at 1736 Erringer on the 2nd Floor in Simi Valley, CA. We are open 7 days/week to showcase the dogs in our care. You can come visit our dogs and puppies Monday-Saturday from 12-7pm, and Sunday from 12-5pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Every dog and puppy that is adopted from TLC is spayed/neutered, brought up-to-date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. Adoptions also include a complementary wellness exam at Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital and a coupon book to use at Theresa's.

If you are interested in adopting one of our furbabies, the very first step is to complete an adoption application; this can be done either in person at our Rescue Center or online from the dog's profile. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
