My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emily, a two-year-old, Shepherd mix, just loves the camera and she is a photographer’s delight. Her face lights up when she thinks that she has met a friend. It is anyone’s guess as to why she found herself at the SPCA Valleyfield but we can rest assured that it had nothing to do with Emily. Little does she know that her life has changed for the better. Emily is shy at first, but incredibly sweet once she gets to know you; she enjoys human attention. Once she bonds, if you leave for a few minutes or a few hours, you will be greeted with a wagging tail and lots of kisses. At this point, Emily wants someone who can meet her needs like only a committed guardian can. Emily enjoys the company of other dogs and even though she will require daily walks and exercise, she is not a hyper dog. Since we have no history on her, a home without young children would best suit her. Emily longs to be someone’s best friend.... would it be you?
