Penny's Story...
Hi and welcome to my page!!! My name is Penny (because I love Penn Tennis Balls) and these really nice people found me wandering the streets very pregnant and too skinny. They found me a wonderful place to stay and raise my little brood of puppies. They are now weaned and it is time for me to find a permanent family to share the rest of my life. I am a very young lady, about 1.5 years, with pretty good manners. I need a little training on what some of the English words mean, like stay and down, but I am housetrained and I know sit (I sit before dinner and they fill my bowl up with the best yummie food! and I sit before you throw my tennis ball - yes I bring it back most of the time). I am UTD on my shots and have been spayed... so won't you come meet me and take me home!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Covington Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Covington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
