Prance's Story...
location: Floyds Knobs, IN

If dogs had jobs, Prance would be either a clown or a comedian. He loves to act silly, and is a barrel of fun. Prance is 4 years old, is housebroken, leash trained... and loves men, women and children. He is good with other dogs, but can be a little shy with "bossy" dogs. Prance has never been around cats, so we don't know if he likes them or not. He loves to go to dog and pet fairs, and loves to be led around by children. Prance is a professional beggar, and can stand on his hind legs while begging with both paws. He also knows how to use a dog door. Prance weighs about 15 pounds. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prance, a Carmel Rat Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Beagle for sale in Carmel, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Carmel.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carmel already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carmel breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carmel paves the way for another one to be saved.
