My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Charli. I'm a cute young lady from Mexico. So far I've been enjoying my time in Canada though it's taking me some time to adjust to the cooler weather. Thank goodness for cozy sweaters!

I currently live with a canine foster brother and feline foster sister. We all get along well though the cat generally just ignores me. Because I am a very active girl, my foster parents have been keeping me fit and mentally stimulated with hikes and runs - my legs might be short but I am fast! When out and about I am keen to meet other dogs and my foster parents and walkers are working with me on my manners as sometimes I can be a little bossy with the other canines. What can I say, I learned to be tough while living the not-so-cushy-life in Mexico! I will say that despite my toughness, I do occasionally get startled and scared by noise but this should get better as I get more comfortable with my surroundings.

When at home I love rolling around on my bed, snuggling on the sofa and also thoroughly enjoy a good chew on one of my foster brother's toys. I am very quiet during the night and sleep through until morning.

I would like a home where I will get lots of attention and exercise. At times I can get over excited and a little mouthy so young children are not suitable for me.
