Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Axel was adopted from our rescue 2 1/2 years ago. In September, 2016 the adopter contacted us saying that they no longer want him. They are a retired couple and like to go on road trips and had been leavng him with family and in boarding facilities.
We failed Axel by choosing that adoptive home for him. He was returned due to no fault of his own! He deserves to be part of a family who will love him and not give up on him.
He lives in a foster home with a male poodle mix. They get along great. He is very mellow and loving. Axel quickly bonded with his 4-legged foster brother and his foster mom. He enjoys climbing onto his foster mom's lap - she adores him!
Axel's date of birth is 4/17/2010. He still acts like a puppy in many ways.
When Axel returned to us he weighed 29 pounds. He is currently on a diet!
This sweet boy will is sure to find is forever home soon!
