Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie is a big, thick, solid 2002-ish QH mare that ended up at AAE due to a financial distress situation. She has a few dozen rides on her, but doesn't seem to have much of a foundation. Although she is a sweet, good looking mare, she doesn't seem to understand much groundwork, so that's where we're starting. She tends to be very pushy and does not respect her handler's personal space...or at times, her handler. That being said, she has other qualities that make her a promising trail prospect. She is quiet and mellow, and does not seem the least bit sensitive to her surroundings. While riding in the roundpen, she paid no attention to dogs, chickens, wheel barrows, carts, people, or a nail gun being used within about 40 feet. She's not great with the farrier, but will stand with food. She's not confident in our herd, and bonded hard to another mare. She follows her every move, and she's dominant with food with some of the herd. Sadie has some challenges, but shows tremendous promise with an experienced, confident handler that will restart her from the ground up.
