This is Scooter and his name fits this wonderful Heeler mix boy to a capital “T”! When you look at this young 10 month old, 20 pound dog you have to smile. The wonderful and amazing ears just capture your heart and then you look at that freckled nose and the cocked head that says, “are you talking to me?” The shelter worker that is pressing hard to get this boy out says that she loves the way he cocks his head as she turns down his aisle to walk his way and past his kennel. He is a Cattle Dog mix and he is intelligent and sensitive. Right now he is shy and unsure of himself and the most submissive dog you will ever meet. We know that being at the shelter has done a lot to his sense of security and confidence in life. We need a foster desperately for this dog. Once he is in a foster home and out of the shelter we know he will find a home very quickly. But first sweet Scooter needs a place to hang out!
