Betsy & Belle's Story...
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Hi there! Us two beautiful bonded girls are now ready for adoption! I'm Betsy (left) and I'm Belle (right), and we are two wonderful dogs that cannot wait to find a loving home full of soft beds, kisses, and treats! We are both 10-11 year old boxer mixes whose owner passed away, and we found ourselves at a shelter awaiting a very sad fate as we nursed our broken hearts. We were rescued by Young at Heart, and we hate to brag, but we are incredible dogs! Both of us girls are housebroken, good with kids, cats, and dogs, and have very good manners. We are bonded, and so we must be adopted together - but we are so easy-going and sweet that we will seem more like one dog! We do have to admit that we are not good with chickens, so you must be a chicken-free home. We have a two-fur-one adoption fee of $175.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy & Belle, a Palatine Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
