My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trigger is a very friendly dog who is need of a loving family. He was abandoned in his back yard for weeks and left without food or water when his family moved. Luckily some neighbors heard his cries and came to the rescue. He was very malnourished and sick when he arrived at our shelter but has made a great recovery and is putting on weight nicely.

Trigger likes to be around people and needs the comfort of a forever home. After all he has been through, he is doing very well, but he does not like being stuck in a kennel all day and is a little insecure about his surroundings. He loves leaning up against your legs for a good snuggle or sitting next to you. He loves getting big hugs! He likes to chase the ball and sniff anything and everything. He likes to go for walks and is good to stay close. He would love a big fenced yard to run and play in but probably wouldn’t do good as an outside only dog so we prefer he goes to a family willing to work with him and have him in the house as part of the family.
