Even superheroes sometimes need a helping hand.
Just like the famous comic book, our Batman was turned into the shelter by his former dad who said he had seizures. Instead of treating him, which is so easy and common for small dogs, he dumped his faithful companion into theshelter. It did not take long for the shelter medical staff to fall madly in love with him. Sadly though time passed and no one was coming for our superhero, so he was put on the euthanasia list. When we met him, we could not imagine such an incredible, loving dog not being on this planet to offer his love to a deserving family.
We did not think twice and we happily saved this adorable terrier. Our rescue immediately brought him to our amazing neurologist. He now takes a very inexpensive medication twice a day and it has controlled his seizures. He should live a long and healthy life as his seizures are not caused by anything life threatening. They are just genetic.
Batman is a sensitive cuddle bug who loves to shower you with gentle kisses. He is enjoying the comforts of his foster home and snuggles in bed with his Boxer foster sister. Take Me Home Rescue is so honored to have saved such an amazing terrier. Batman is 7 pounds. Batman is around three years old. Terriers can live long lives so be ready for many years in your Bat Cave together! He is housebroken and really easygoing, but yet still very active.
