Erin's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Erin's Story...
Erin is very sweet. She is a little shy at first but once she feels safe her true personality comes out. It is believed that Erin was abused in the past. She needs a loving home that can be patient with her till she feels safe in her new environment. Erin's home can not keep her because their other dog is very ill and no longer plays well with me. If you are interested in adopting and/or meeting me please contact the Alabama Animal Adoption Society at AAAS2808@yahoo.com or give us a call at 205-871-6351.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Erin, a Homewood Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
