Bruce's Story...
Hello, my name is Bruce. And yes, by my cuteness and sweetness, you can call me Bruce Almighty! :) I am about 1 and a half years old, I weigh about 58 lbs, I’m heart worm free and I'm even neutered. Not to mention – I am house trained and I don’t mind being in my crate when my foster mommy and daddy are at work! In addition to lab and ridgeback, I may have some boxer or Americsn bulldog in my bloodlines.
The last time someone asked my foster mom how I'm doing she replied, " Fabulous! He's so great! He loves our little girl and has claimed his own spot on the couch. We seriously haven't had a lick of trouble. He's so sweet."

I used to live with 3 other dogs and was friendly with them. I would make a really great best friend.
It only took me two days to learn how to sit! So you know I’m a smart doggie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a Waterbury Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Waterbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
