My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At just 11 months old, Emmy is an adorable, sweet Shih Tzu mix. She weighs 12 pounds. As you can see from her photo, she has beautiful black and white fur and has big gorgeous eyes! Emmy has an endearing personality and loves affection and attention. She gets along great with her foster dog and cat siblings. Although she is young, she is very calm and laid back and very much enjoys sitting on your lap or lying with you on the couch. Emmy came from a home where she was kept inside exclusively. She has enjoyed getting to know the snow, the outdoors, and discovering walks! She is working on her potty training and making improvements every day. Emmy is great with respectful children and just loves to play, snuggle and get loads of attention. She is up to date on her vaccinations, and will be spayed March 24. Please note that Emmy is available for adoption but cannot go to her new home until after she has healed from her spay. We would like her new owners to attend the STRMN Rescue Reunion which is held the third Saturday in June every year. Emmy’s adoption fee is $420.00 plus Minnesota sales tax.

To meet Emmy and other dogs available for adoption from Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota, please visit with us from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Minnetonka Petco near Ridgedale the last Saturday of every month.
