Chula is very active and enjoys playing outdoors and going for walks in the woods on our dog trail. She enjoys her toys, and is very smart and knows how to sit, shake, lay down and roll over. She is leash trained and house broken as well. Chula is always eager to hang out with our staff and volunteers. Due to her higher energy, she will need a new home that can give her daily exercise through walking/hiking or have a fenced yard for her to run around and play in.
She will need to be an only pet despite living with another dogs in her previous home. She started to become more dominant-aggressive with the other dog after she gave birth to the litter of puppies. We will be testing and working with her to see if she will accept a submissive type male dog again. Chula has not been around younger children, so we are only willing to place her with children over 10 years of age.
Chula has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for Heartworm and Lyme Disease. She is ready to be adopted to a new home. If you are interested, please contact us or stop by and ask to meet her.
An approved adoption application is required to adopt an animal from our Humane Society. Our application form is available on our main website or by contacting us.
