Franklin was found in a parking lot with his 2 siblings, (Floyd and Frannie) in an industrial area in South Central LA. It was during the peak of our cold snap and temperatures were in the 30’s at night. Not a safe place for a little baby. We brought him to our vet, he was not micro chipped, but despite his living conditions, he was very healthy.
He has since been cleaned up, fattened up, had all his shots and has all been fixed. He is now healed from neuter surgery and is 100% ready to find a forever loving home. Our vet believes him to be about eight months old. He is also all about 95% potty trained, and only has accidents when we wait too long to take him out. Ideally we would like to keep these three siblings (Floyd, Franklin, and Frannie) together as they are very attached to one another. They play all day and snuggle all night.
However, we are open to finding them each the best, most loving forever homes possible. Here’s a bit of info on each of them individually.
Franklin, the tan/blond puppy boy: Franklin is the calmest of the three. He’s very sensitive, a little shy at first, but he quickly adapts to new people. He is about 98% potty trained. He is a huge love bug and needs to be the apple of someone’s eye. He has such a sweet, quiet charm and intelligence. Franklin is an old Soul and has really won me over with his gentle, shy, loving nature. He really wants to please and will make an excellent best friend for someone. He was thirteen pounds when we first got him but has probably gained a little weight since eating regular meals.
He is very gentle with people, children and around other doggies.
