E.V.'s Story...
If you have been looking for a well trained pal to join in your life, I am your girl! I weigh 44 pounds and am very delicate and petite for either of my breeds. My obedience skills are very good. I would be the perfect project for any age 4-H participant. I have a tinge of stubbornness like most GSHs, but you introduce treats and like magic I'm perfect. I am alert, and eager to please. Let's get started!

* I have been micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

E.V., a Hastings German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Hastings, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hastings.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hastings already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hastings breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hastings paves the way for another one to be saved.
