Bentley's Story...
Please view the video of Bentley's interaction with others here at our rescue. Bentley, we believe, is a mixed breed hound/shepherd. He is 4-5 months old with enormous paws indicating he will be a very large adult dog. He is quiet, submissive, playful, and extremely affectionate and loving to all that have come his way. Bentley is neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, wormed, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. There is a $200 adoption donation to reimburse veterinary and transport expenses. If you are interested in adopting Bentley, please contact kathi.jackson9@gmail.com to request an application. Meet and greets are scheduled only for approved applicants.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Weeki Wachee Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Weeki Wachee, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Weeki Wachee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weeki Wachee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weeki Wachee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weeki Wachee paves the way for another one to be saved.
