My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am an 8-week-old male German Shepherd mix. I weigh about 2 1/2 pounds, but I definitely still have a ton of growing to do. I'm sweet, playful, inquisitive, energetic, and loving! Oh...did I mention super duper adorable! The cutest dog around. That's me! At just 2 weeks of age, my sister and I found ourselves at a local high-kill shelter. We're not really sure how we got there, but there we were! We were really scared and confused because we kept hearing everyone around us talking about my sissy and I, saying that we were "not sustainable". Apparently, puppies our age that do not have a mother are euthanized unless a foster is available. Thankfully, a foster was located and we spent the next 5 weeks in our foster family's home. We got our first round of shots and was then put up for adoption. A volunteer notified the staff at CageFree to ask them if they would be willing to take us into their rescue. We are so happy they said yes! We now spend our time playing, eating, and napping while our human companions work to find us new forever homes. We can be adopted together or apart. It doesn't matter to us. We are both just excited about finding our new families. The future looks really bright for us. We're hoping you'd like to be a part of that.
