My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES MAX INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Max came to us via a High Intake Shelter, his previous Owners paid a very large sum of money for Max only to tie him outside and not train this highly intelligent boy, what an insult to the intelligence of this great dog.

At the shelter Max stressed out and showed poorly, so they contacted us to help this obnoxious teenager. Is any of this Max's fault? Absolutely NOT!

Max is approx. 10 months old, he's really a goofball but was scared out of his mind at the shelter and wanted someone to reassure him that all was going to be ok.

Max has started out with IDGSR on the right foot and is staying with our trainer for some manners work, Max will benefit from ongoing training and this is required for adoption and will be in our contract.

Often these youngsters are not given the basic skills and education to help them have boundaries. No different than with your own human children.

Max is a lovable kid and will likely challenge his new family with his antics and typical GS style of puppy to adult hood behaviors.

Lots of daily exercise and that training, training, training, will help Max excel at a job. If you would like to make Max a member of your family, please apply with this rescue at the link below, Max is fostered in Tennessee and transport is available to the Northeast.
