Please Share ... Cookie the Pit Bull Needs a Loving Home
Cookie is a very friendly, cuddly, and super sweet, four-year-old, 45-pound, fawn and white, female pit bull terrier looking for a loving guardian.
Cookie was found as a stray in Gary, Indiana. It’s obvious she was someone’s pet, as she sits on command and takes treats ever so gently from your fingers. While she would love a fenced-in yard to play, she also walks beautifully on leash and would be fine in an apartment or condo setting with daily leash walks. She loves to meet new people on her walks. Cookie is living in a foster home where she has proven herself housebroken and crate-trained. She is good with other mellow dogs - her size or bigger, but not cats.
Cookie is not big on rough-housing with other dogs. She is a low-key girl who enjoys her walks and likes tennis balls. She also like Nylabones and chewing on raw bones. Cookie is in her glory in the summer when she can be outside playing and enjoying the sun. Cookie is healthy, spayed, heartworm-tested, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt Cookie, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets.
