My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gunner, the sweetest and most beautiful purebred male Weimaraner around. This beautiful boy is such a good boy with a wonderful heart and calm easy disposition. He is truly a gentle giant.
Gunner is 16 months old. He is a purebred AK Blue Weimaraner. He has a lovely temperament. At about 75 lbs, Gunner is a gentle boy who is beautifully bred and the perfect size for a handsome purebred male Weimaraner.
Gunner is a true lover. He really loves his people and is such a good boy in the house. He is obedient and trained and knows some commands. All he wants to do it please his person and he loves to be close and by your side. He still needs work on leash training, he pulls on a leash but this is easily corrected through training, which is always advised for our younger Weims when they are adopted.
He is wonderful in the car, in the house, at dog park, and really just anywhere you want to take him. He loves to go on errands with his person or is just as happy to stay home with his doggie pals. He loves to play tug of war and fetch!
Gunner is fitting in beautifully in his foster home where he gets along wonderfully with all the other dogs he is fostered with including another Weim. He will need and will enjoy his good daily exercise and then he will settle perfectly in the house. He has lovely house manners and is housebroken. He ignores the cat in his foster home, so if you have a kitty who Is dog savvy, he may be a good choice for you.
Although Gunner is a mellow guy, he also has lots of spunk if you feel like a hike too. He will go with the flow. If you are in the mood for a hike or jog he's right there with you. Or if it's a rainy day and you want to curl up under the blankets, Gunner will be by your side. He is the perfect mix of easy and fun and blends right in.
Gunner is a very healthy happy boy who just wants to be a best friend. You really couldn't do better than to have the love of this fellow. And in return, Gunner will give you such loyalty and love.
Gunner will do best in a home with another friendly canine companion to keep him company if you are away long hours. Or he would do great as your one and only if you are not gone super long days. Most Weims are real companion dogs and don't love life left alone all day. They can get lonely and bored and are happiest with a friend. He will do best with a family who will take him out for a nice walk each day and maybe some weekend outings
If you are interested in meeting Gunner, please send an email to WeimLuvvr@aol.com so that we can get you an application.
