My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack Frost is a cute, and sweet 13 pound Shih-Poo (Poodle and Shih Tzu). His white and cream coat ranges from wavy to very curly. He doesn't seem to shed much, if at all.

Jack is only about a year old, and still acts very much like a puppy. He is doing well with house training, but he does love to play! He is full of puppy energy and sometimes requires some direction to expend it appropriately.

Jack was originally found in a rural cemetery where he had been dumped. The cemetery was crawling with coyotes, but somehow Jack was able to remain safe until the local shelter was able to come and rescue him. Some of the nights in the cemetery got pretty cold, and as a result, Jack ended up losing part of one ear and the tip of the other to frostbite. But he is all better now and ready for a real home!

This dog’s adoption fee is $225.
Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
